Our STI chimney stack is an innovative evolution of the standard chimney termination using modern engineering design principles, combined with a state of the art manufacturing process. It is suitable for use with all gas, oil, pellet and wood burning appliances

Complete with a comprehensive range of standard accessories to suit all applications, the STI chimney stack supports the chimney and is perfect for 3m high freestanding chimneys above roof.

Our STI chimney stack is suitable for use with Therminox, Duo-Gas and Efficience chimney systems and available as standard in 3 finishes (Stainless steel, black & copper brown).

Easily achieve the correct termination height complying with local building regulations plus an easy installation for tall chimney stacks with up to 3m above the support flashing up-stand.

Supplied with our engineered Poujoulat flashing system, very easy to position in place of 4 or 6 tiles and delivers a perfect seal to the roof.

The flashing plate is made to measure and guarantees an immediate and perfect water-tight seal to the roof.

Installation & regulation

> The STI chimney stack is simply seated on the flashing base, it must be checked, levelled and adjusted if necessary.

> Freestanding up to 3 metres above last support with Reinforced Locking Bands (2 metres as standard).

Termination position for solid fuel appliances

> Where the chimney passes through a pitched roof more than 0.6m from the ridge the horizontal distance between the roof and the chimney termination shall be not less than 2.3m unless the termination is at least 0.6m above the ridge (excluding any chimney terminal).

> Where the discharge  end of the chimney flue is within a horizontal distance of 2.3m from any adjoining structure or opening into building the termination height shall be not than 1m above that structure or opening.

> Where the chimney passes through a flat roof, or a shallow pitched roof having a slope less than 10°, the chimney termination shall be 1m above the level of the roof at the point of penetration through the structure. 

Sweeping

> It is important that chimneys serving all types of solid fuel appliance are swept regularly to remove soot, tar and potential blockages.
