Therminox TI & ZI
Twin wall insulated multi-fuel system chimney

Therminox is a high quality stainless steel twin wall pre-insulated system chimney for heating appliances.
A continuously welded liner provides a pressure and moisture resistant system when used with the optional Joint Seal, for applications requiring pressure tightness up to 200 Pa. It is ideally suited for operating temperature up to 450°C and comes with a 10 year Axa backed guarantee.

CE marked and designated as suitable for use with all gas, oil, pellet and wood burning appliances, whether these are atmospheric, pressure-jet, or fully condensing. Complete with a comprehensive range of standard accessories to suit all applications and environments.

All of the products offered by Cheminées Poujoulat have been rigorously tested in every configuration by the CERIC Laboratory to ensure they meet highest standards (Building Regulation Document J).

  • Deadweight (wall support) every 16 metres.
  • Freestanding up to 3 metres above last support with Reinforced Locking Bands (2 metres as standard)

Distance to combustible materials

Therminox has exceptional thermal properties that guarantee a true 50mm clearance to combustible materials.

Offsets

An offset is acceptable only if the following rules are respected:

  • The chimney system shall have no more than 4 bends in total. 2 bends in the chimney and 2 bends in the flue pipe connection.
  • The offset shall provide a change of direction no more than 45° from the vertical.
  • The run of chimney between bends shall not exceed 20% of the total chimney length.

For biomass heating appliance (< 70 kW input)

For biomass heating appliance (> 150 kW input)

  • Refer to Clean Air Act Memorandum (CAAM)

For gas heating appliance (> 70 kW input)
